The School of Educational Studies seeks applications for the full-time manager of the Center for School Business Management. The successful candidate will serve the Center’s activities on the OSU campus and around the state. Screening of applicants begins December 1, 2009 and will continue until the position is filled. Qualifications and Responsibilities: The candidate must be highly-motivated and will be responsible for planning, organizing and conducting in-service training programs for school business officials in Oklahoma. The Center is part of the College of Education at Oklahoma State University and the manager will report to a supervising faculty member and to the School Head. Duties include developing program content, identifying and arranging for presenters/consultants and scheduling meeting times, locations and support arrangements with limited direct supervision. Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) and school business related experience required; teaching experience in higher education preferred; evidence of an understanding of the Oklahoma school finance system; curriculum development; experience in coordinating and directing conferences; willingness to travel within the state; outstanding logistical and people skills; excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills; working knowledge of computers and desktop publishing, and very detail oriented.
