The University Center at Ponca City invites applications for a full-time Director of Technology. Applicants must be able to provide computer operation assistance, coordinate evening and weekend staff schedules, perform routine office procedures associated with the operation of the UC, troubleshoot the distance education Interactive Television systems, provide technical assistance in the maintenance and operation of UC equipment, possess excellent communication and listening skills, and must have customer-friendly attitude. Typical hours would be 2-10:00pm weekdays or a combination of weekday and weekend hours. Physical requirements include hearing adequate to communicate by phone, videoconference broadcast, or in person, ability to lift and move ITV and computer equipment as well as small furniture, agility to work from a variety of positions to install equipment, energy and fitness level to support being on feet for the majority of the work period. Postsecondary training, experience, or college credit related to computer technology is required – degree preferred.
